What to expect:

At your acupuncture appointment, I will begin by taking a detailed clinical history to understand your health concerns and goals.

I will then assess the state of your body using traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic techniques, including pulse diagnosis, and examining the tongue.

Based on this assessment, fine acupuncture needles may be gently placed on specific points along your arms, hands, legs, feet, abdomen, face, or back to promote healing and balance.

You will lie comfortably on a treatment bed with the needles in place for 20-30 minutes. During this time you are encouraged to enter a state of deep relaxation and experience the various sensations which arise within the body, around the needles or along the meridian pathways.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to ensure ease during your session.
